About Us
Nashville is in the midst of one of the most acute affordable housing crises in its history. Rapid population growth, escalating land costs, and a fragmented policy environment have left thousands of working families without access to safe, stable, and affordable homes. Yet the developers and organizations most capable of solving this crisis — those working to build and preserve affordable housing — lack a unified voice at the tables where decisions are made.

Our Focus
The Alliance for an Affordable Nashville (AAN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to provide avoice for those working to build and preserve affordable housing. AAN gives organizations involved in and supportive of the development and preservation of affordable housing a collective platform to advocate for smart, effective policy at Metro Nashville and the state level; to celebrate and spotlight developments addressing the housing crisis; and to support the sector.
AAN focuses on:
